Erling Braut Haaland is a Norwegian professional footballer who was born on July 21, 2000, in Leeds, England. He is widely regarded as one of the best young footballers in the world.
Haaland grew up in a footballing family, with his father Alf-Inge Haaland also being a professional footballer. He began his youth career with his hometown club, Bryne FK, before moving to Molde FK in 2017.
In 2018, Haaland made his professional debut for Molde FK in the Norwegian Eliteserien. He quickly established himself as a prolific goal scorer, scoring 20 goals in 50 appearances for the club.
